What happen to the market today?

The stock market indices hit new high as Nasdaq made its tenth consecutive up days. The Federal Reserve announce the beginning of tapering the bond buying program and mortgage-back securities. The job numbers on Friday show that the economy continue to recover. Earnings so far this quarter has been better than expected.

With all these good news this week, the market made remarkable gains most notably in the small caps on Russell 2000.

What is the current support level?

Nasdaq and S&P 500 continue to climb further above its 10 days moving average.

Dow Jones Industrial also climb further above its 10 days moving average and has now surpass 36,000.

Russell 2000 broke out of a consolidation base that started since February 2021. This is a good sign.

NASDAQ - above its 50 days moving average line near 14825; current at 15900
S&P 500 - above its 50 days moving average line near 4440; current at 4681
DJIA - above its 50 days moving average line near 35000; current at 36327
RUSSELL 2000 - above its 50 days moving average line near 2220; current at 2403

Psychological levels

Nasdaq is above 15000.
S&P 500 is now above 4600.
Dow Jones Industrial Average is now above 36000.
Small cap Russell 2000 is now above 2400.
